February is National Children’s Dental Health Month and Krause Smiles is grinning from ear to ear!

NCDHM visit with Dr Mark

Salisbury Area Chamber of Commerce Member Dr. Mark Krause of Krause Smiles, a dental practice specializing in children ages 1 to 21 and those with special needs of all ages, will be visiting area schools and early childcare centers while educating and interacting with 500 local children across the Shore.
For over a decade their registered dental hygienist, Ms. Christie, and the dedicated Krause Smiles team have been sharing their commitment to educating children and parents on why going to the dentist is FUN and IMPORTANT. This year is no different! With toothbrushes and coloring books in tow, the Krause Smiles team will be showcasing the importance of brushing twice a day for two minutes each time to keep those smiles healthy.
Krause Smiles supports the American Academy of Pediatrics & the American Academy of Pediatric Dentist’s recommendation for a child’s first dental visit to be by age 1. Dr. Mark provides an inviting environment for the smallest of patients and strives to make all of their experiences a positive one! They encourage year 1 dental visits to teach parents and caregivers how to care for their children’s teeth and help them remain cavity-free. A healthy mouth is important at every age; starting early with preventative care is the very foundation of creating a smile free of oral disease.
