Salisbury, MD — On Thursday, April 3, Wor-Wic Community College’s Radiologic Technology Class of 2025 presented the Golden Apple Award to Nicole “Nikki” Folsom, R.T.(R)(CT)(ARRT), Radiologic Technologist at TidalHealth Peninsula Regional.

Each year, Wor-Wic’s Radiologic Technology students present the Golden Apple Award to a TidalHealth staff technologist who was highly influential to their growth and development throughout their clinical time at TidalHealth’s Salisbury hospital.

Folsom was selected for this year’s award because of her unwavering kindness, generosity and genuine support:

“Nikki has consistently been the person who made each of us feel valued and accepted, no matter what our background or differences. Whether it was offering a helping hand when needed, listening without judgment, or simply sharing a smile, she creates an environment where everyone feels comfortable and confident.

Nikki’s kindness radiates in everything she does, and her ability to make others feel seen and heard is a gift that has made our class a better place. She has made our clinical experience the best. We are truly grateful for her positive influence and the warmth she brings to all of us. Thank you, Nikki, for all you do!”

We are thankful for Folsom’s dedication to training the next generation of radiologic technologists. Please join us in congratulating her on this outstanding achievement.
