Berlin, MD — The Lower Shore Land Trust invites the community to attend an informational meeting about continued updates for the former Bay Club Golf Course (Libertytown Branch Tract) which is a Maryland Department of Natural Resources (MD DNR) property. The community session is extended to local hunters, trail horse riders, dog walkers and hikers who are part of the growing community interested in this Maryland DNR property.

The meeting will be held at the Berlin Branch of the Worcester County Public Library on:

  • Thursday, November 13, at 6:00 PM

The former Bay Club Golf Course is progressing into a diverse restoration project owned by Maryland Department of Natural Resources. The volunteer Friend’s Group will help support the future maintenance and care of the habitat trails and represents a unique opportunity to restore vital habitats and enhance public enjoyment of natural resources on the Lower Eastern Shore. The collaboration between MD DNR, U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, and the Lower Shore Land Trust underscores the importance of partnerships in advancing conservation goals.

The meeting is open to the public, and we encourage all residents, conservation enthusiasts, and local stakeholders to attend and learn more about this exciting project.
