Salisbury, MD – Wicomico County’s Good Beer Festival returns to Pemberton Park in Salisbury on Friday-Saturday, Oct. 14-15.
The 12th annual festival features unlimited sampling from 35-plus breweries. In addition to craft beer, there will be domestics, ciders and seltzers.
The festival features a wide variety of entertainment. Enjoy live music and see chainsaw carving and glassblowing demonstrations. The Humane Society of Wicomico County will also be on-site with adoptable dogs.
Star spellers can show off their skills during Whiskey & Randy’s Adult Spelling Bee, which is returning for the second year Friday night. New this year on Saturday are hypnotist Marshal Manlove, who will need volunteers from the audience, and the Good Beard Competition. The beard competition encourages creativity; people can come with decorated beards or get on-site assistance from In The Art Room.
“This year, there are even more ways for attendees to become part of the festival entertainment,” said festival organizer Fallon Jackson. “Each of these activities will be a lot of fun for both the participants and the audience.”
The festival also features games, axe throwing, regional cuisine and vendors.
Festival hours are Friday, Oct. 14, from 5-10 p.m. and Saturday, Oct. 15, from noon-5 p.m.
Tasting tickets include a sampling glass and as many samples as one can responsibly consume. VIP tickets are also for sale, while supplies last, as well as non-tasting tickets.
Advance ticket sales are available online at www.GoodBeerFestival.org. Organizers recommend attendees purchase tickets in advance to avoid lines at the gate.
“We’re excited to welcome everyone to Pemberton Park for the Good Beer Festival,” Jackson said. “Come out and enjoy some good beer and good times.”
