Goodwill Industries Lower Shore Career Center was awarded the 2014 Partnership Award recently at the 2015 Human Services Conference held at Turf Valley in Ellicott City, MD., sponsored by the Maryland Community Action Partnership. Goodwill was nominated by SHORE UP! for their exemplary leadership and in facilitating partnerships with their Head Start families. Goodwill provides a series of job readiness workshops to assist the parents with career development choices. This partnership was recognized for all the hard work and dedication to serve the families and residents of the Lower Shore and for the greater good of the community.
