Salisbury, MD – Habitat for Humanity of Wicomico County will be hosting bingo at the Willards Lions Club on October 19, 2023. Doors will open at 5:00pm with the first game starting at 7:00pm. All prizes are cash prizes. Food and drinks will be available for purchase along with specialty games for the chance to win more money. $25 admission will be at the door.
Proceeds from this event go directly to Habitat for Humanity of Wicomico County to support affordable homeownership and critical home repairs/aging in place programs in Wicomico and Somerset Counties. Habitat for Humanity works to make homeownership of decent, affordable homes a matter of conscience and action. Habitat for Humanity of Wicomico County was founded in 1987; since then the affiliate has built and sold 74 homes locally. Through volunteer labor and tax-deductible donations of money and materials, Habitat builds and rehabilitates simple, decent homes with the help of the homeowner (partner) families. Habitat homes are sold to partner families at no profit, financed with affordable, low-interest loans. The homeowners’ monthly mortgage payments come back to the affiliate to help build more homes for more families.
