Hamilton Physical Therapy hosted the Salisbury Area Chamber of Commerce April Business After Hours on Thursday, April 13, 2023. The event was held at their Salisbury clinic located at 119 W College Ave and featured a demo on making a custom orthotics (aka splints).

Owners, Jennifer and William “Billy” Hamilton, both DPT and CHT, welcomed guests and provided detailed information on the services their clinics provide. Jenn, a Salisbury native, met Bill while they were getting their bachelor’s degree at SU, and they later obtained their Doctor of Physical Therapy degrees at the University of Maryland Eastern Shore. In addition, they are certified as Hands Therapists, which makes them specialists in rehabilitation of the hand, arm and shoulder.

Jenn was delighted to provide information on their services and performed a demonstration on how to make a custom orthotics (splints). “We opened our first Hamilton Physical location in Ocean Pines in 2019, and then we open this location in April 12, 2021 so we are celebrating our 2 year anniversary here in Salisbury. We offer a wide variety of treatments, plus specialize in hand therapy. We decided that what will make people come see us over someone else, is the overall experience. We wanted to create an experience where it is not just about the treatment they are receiving for their individual problem, but that every time they come, they see smiles, friendly faces, and a welcoming ambiance like the beautiful pictures on the walls from local Salisbury instead of the ordinary anatomy charts. We want to educate our community and let them know that we have a Direct Access which means that you don’t necessarily need to have a doctors’ referral to come see us first. We will evaluate what is going on and guide you through the process.”

With clinics in Salisbury and Ocean Pines, Hamilton Physical Therapy, offers an abundance of one-on-one care during every treatment session to the community in Wicomico and Worcester counties. Services provided include physical therapy, hands therapy and sports therapy.

Guests enjoyed delicious appetizers provided by Black Diamond Catering and assorted libations; door prizes included 3 wonderful baskets with a variety Hamilton Physical Therapy swag items, gift cards and healthy snacks. The 50/50 raffle was won by Hank Yuloff.
