If you happened to walk by Headquarters Live in downtown Salisbury on Thursday, May 28th around 5pm you would have seen crowds of people mulling around, posing for pictures and enjoying the festivities planned for the venue’s ribbon cutting ceremony.
More than 100 attendees came out for the event to celebrate the opening of the additional doors that were included in the plan when developers from Devreco renovated the Old Fire House. The doors were part of the transformation that turned a historic fire house into an indoor/outdoor entertainment venue.
“It was nice to see so many familiar faces in the crowd at the ribbon cutting ceremony,” said Joey Gilkerson of Devreco. “It is inspiring to know we have so much community support behind our mission with HQ Live. I was glad I had the opportunity to thank all of the people who helped make it happen. If it weren’t for the community, local businesses and stakeholders and support from the City of Salisbury, we wouldn’t be standing in the renewed space listening to live music in the heart of downtown Salisbury.”
