HEARD for Life Celebrates Grand Opening at Rommel Center

Ribbon cutting ceremony for Heard For Life for

The SACC and its members were delighted to join Kayla Thompson-Riviere on February 6 in the ribbon cutting for her business HEARD for Life at Salisbury University’s Rommel Center in Downtown Salisbury.

Kayla, whose office is now located in one of the cool “garage” spaces at the Rommel Center, welcomed guests and shared with them a short but very detailed presentation of what Heard for Life offers to its clients.

Very passionate of what she does, Kayla shared “Your healthcare is usually dictated by your insurance reimbursement.  Providers get paid by appointments, prescriptions, surgeries and tests.  The appointments that you typically get are focused on treating the symptoms and not finding the root cause, and your care gets fragmented amongst specialists.  At HEARD for Life, we provide independent patient advocacy, where we treat the issue that is going on with you, but we don’t stop there.  We help you get to the root core of what is really going on, treat it and get you out of the cycle of chronic illness”.

HEARD for Life provides independent patient advocacy that helps those navigating the healthcare system so they can get the care they deserve with fewer complications and achieve their best healthcare outcomes. Their 5-Step systematic approach focuses on:

-Assessing – understanding the full health picture

-Discovering – identifying the root cause of concern

-Planning – creating a customized, evolving care plan

-Implementing – coordinating with providers, treatments, resources, hospitalizations, etc.

-Evaluating – ensuring care is on trace and adapting or making changes when needed

Guests enjoyed beverages and homemade appetizers that included Mexican coleslaw, street corn pasta salad, cowboy caviar, and sweets included dark chocolate pecan, white chocolate cranberry and vanilla marshmallow bites.
