Hebron Savings Bank Announces Karen Bauswell’s Graduation From Maryland Banking School

Hebron, MD – Hebron Savings Bank is excited to announce the graduation of Karen Bauswell, Senior Operations Specialist, from the Maryland Bankers Association’s Maryland Banking School.  

Karen graduated from the three-year program on August 9, 2024, with Honors and distinguished recognition for maintaining a 3.75 or higher GPA throughout the program! The Maryland Banking School is a generational banking school focusing on hands-on experience and multidisciplinary learning to develop leadership, managerial, and technical skills. “We are so proud of Karen for her dedication to her professional development and success throughout this program,” said Jennifer Poulsen, Hebron Savings Bank President and CEO.

Karen has worked in banking for 17 years, 13 of which have been at Hebron Savings Bank.  She enjoys working at a community bank where she can help local businesses and individuals with their financial needs.  In her free time, Karen enjoys going to concerts and the beach with her family and participating in vintage car shows.
