Hebron, MD — Hebron Savings Bank is inviting communities across Maryland’s Eastern Shore to help tell their stories through Rooted on the Shore, a new public art initiative created in partnership with We Are Limitless Studios.
The initiative will bring a series of original murals to Hebron Savings Bank locations with each mural inspired by the community it represents, celebrating the local history, character, people, traditions and spirit that make each place unique.
Before the artists begin their work, Hebron Savings Bank wants to hear from the people who know these communities best: the people who live, work and build their lives here. Through the Rooted on the Shore Community Mural Survey, residents are invited to share the landmarks, traditions, industries, people, memories, stories and values they believe should be represented in the artwork. Community responses will help inspire the artists as they develop murals designed to authentically reflect the places where they will be displayed.

Poulsen, CEO and President of Hebron Savings Bank. “Rooted on the Shore is about listening to those stories and celebrating what makes each of our communities special. These murals will belong to the communities they represent, so it’s important that the inspiration begins with the people who call them home.”
Community members can participate by scanning the QR code on Rooted on the Shore materials, visiting www.hebronsavingsbank.com, or picking up a survey at any Hebron Savings Bank branch. Completed paper surveys may also be returned to a branch or mailed to:
