Salisbury, MD – Craft beer lovers can hop over to Downtown Salisbury on Saturday, April 13, for the City of Salisbury’s fourth Hops on the River beer tasting event.
Tickets are on sale now, and new this year are VIP tickets. VIP tickets are on sale through March 31 or until sold out and are $55 for the ticket, an hour early access to the event and a T-shirt.
General admission tickets are $35 through Friday, April 5, at 11:59 p.m. and $45 afterward. VIP and general admission attendees can also add on a King of Wings ticket for $15 and sample 10 wings from participating restaurants; limited King of Wings tickets are available.
“We’re excited to make Hops on the River even bigger and include some new features,” said Events Technical Specialist Chris Ford. “Come on out and enjoy some great beer and fun in Downtown Salisbury.”
Hops on the River runs from 2-5 p.m. in the area between Unity Square and Riverwalk Games Park, with VIP attendees able to enter early at 1 p.m. All ticketed attendees will receive a tasting glass sponsored by The Brick Room. The event will also feature live music by Bravenoise, games, and food and craft vendors.
Evolution Craft Brewing Co., RAR Brewing, Burnish Beer Co., Sinepuxent Brewing Company and Big Truck Farm Brewery all plan to have brewery representatives pouring and sharing information on-site, with more breweries to be confirmed.
Attendees must be 21 or older; no vertical IDs will be accepted. The event is weather-permitting, and the rain date is set for Sunday, April 14. Tickets are non-refundable. There are not designated driver tickets, but DDs/non-drinkers ages 21 and older can attend at no charge and not taste any alcohol.
