Salisbury, MD —TidalHealth is pleased to welcome Tonya Howell, CRNP-F, to TidalHealth Cardiology in Salisbury, Maryland.
Howell received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and her Master of Science in Nursing from Wilmington University in Delaware. She is a family nurse practitioner, certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.
Howell is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, and she is certified by the American Heart Association in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
Howell has worked for TidalHealth since 1999, starting as an LPN and working on the medical/surgical floor. While working there, she went to Wilmington University to obtain her RN degree. She then transferred to the cardiac catheterization lab/electrophysiology lab, where she currently works. She returned to school to obtain her master’s degree as a nurse practitioner from Wilmington University and went to work for a cardiology practice.
When she is not seeing patients, Howell enjoys the beach, swimming, traveling, volunteering at the Humane Society of Wicomico County and spending time with her daughter, Kaleigh, and three dogs.
