SALISBURY, MD – Get ready for a day filled with laughter, creativity, and connection at the highly anticipated Improvaneer Method Improvaganza, proudly sponsored by the Bay Area Center for Independent Living and Down Syndrome Association of Maryland!
This exciting event will take place on Thursday, August 15th, 2024 at the Bay Area Center for Independent Living, located at 31516 Winterplace Pkwy, Salisbury, MD 21804, and is designed to offer a unique – fun experience while developing key life skills for individuals with disabilities. There will be two dynamic sessions to participate in:
- Session 1: For teens and adults with Down syndrome at 11:00 a.m.
- Session 2: For teens and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities at 1:00 p.m.
Each session will be led by a certified Improvaneer Method Director, who will guide participants through engaging improvisation activities and games that foster creativity, boost confidence, and provide an inclusive, supportive environment for everyone involved.
A special highlight of the day will be a delicious lunch provided by the Bay Area Center for Independent Living, set to begin at noon. This meal offers a wonderful opportunity to meet new friends, share experiences, and build lasting connections.
Family members or support persons are welcome to participate and enjoy the fun alongside the attendees. We kindly request that family/support persons register for the appropriate ticket and time slot in advance.
