InFocus Financial Advisors, Inc. will present a series of workshops at the Salisbury Area Chamber of Commerce during the month of May, beginning May 8 with a “Investing in Retirement: The Differences.” The workshop is intended to discuss the change in circumstance when going from working into retirement, specifically addressing the change in income and savings. It will also examine the necessity to utilize investments to cover expenses. The workshop is intended to provide a new perspective on how to manage these investments, and how to maintain a comfortable lifestyle. The presentation will cover basic ideas suitable for self implementation that can adjust financial strategies from working life to retired life. It begins at 12 p.m. at the Chamber building.
The second of the seminars will be “Behavioral Finance: Your Brain On Investments”. This presentation will focus on the intersection between human psychology and investing. It will explore several behavioral and cognitive biases that can affect how one views investments, and makes decisions surrounding them. It will begin May 22 at 12 p.m. at the Chamber building.
