Jail and Correctional Officers Graduate

Twenty-eight jail and correctional officers from Wicomico, Worcester, Somerset, Dorchester, Talbot and Caroline counties graduated in the 107th entrance-level class of the Eastern Shore Criminal Justice Academy (ESCJA) operated by Wor-Wic Community College in Salisbury.

Graduation exercises, which were held in Guerrieri Hall on the college campus, featured a commencement address by Terry Kokolis, director of the Talbot County Department of Corrections.

Donald Rollyson Jr., assistant director of the ESCJA, and Rob Dell’Erba, ESCJA coordinator, presided at the ceremony. Sara E. Hetherington of the Ocean City Police Department was the class speaker.

In addition to Hetherington, graduates included Catherine Cormier, Jason M. Hill, Monica R. Jones, Carla Y. Patterson, Miranda C. Turner and Janaya T. Ward from the Wicomico County Department of Corrections, Taylor Q. Armstrong, Joshua R. Lockman and John P. Znamirowski of the Worcester County Jail and Detention Center, Renial D. Brown, Maurice A. Bull, John M. Carson, Kierra R. Fooks, Michelle R. Hearne, Vincent S. Jones, Ethan D. Messick, Rosemary K. Navti, Raheel A. Qureshi, Christian Senyasu and Amy J. Stephan of the Eastern Correctional Institution, Timothy D. Bolden, Lasheka S. Dennis and Andrea D. Johnson of the Dorchester County Department of Corrections, Branden L. Johnson and Pierre L. Tue of the Talbot County Department of Corrections and Kalib M. Coursey and Xeomara Williams of the Caroline County Department of Corrections.
