
Thirty jail and correctional officers from Wicomico, Worcester, Somerset, Dorchester, Caroline and Talbot counties graduated in the 121st entrance-level class of the Eastern Shore Criminal Justice Academy (ESCJA) operated by Wor-Wic Community College in Salisbury.
Graduation exercises, which were held in Guerrieri Hall on the college campus, featured a commencement address by John Milligan, assistant warden of the Eastern Correctional Institution (ECI).
Donald Rollyson Jr., associate director of the ESCJA, and Rob Dell’Erba, ESCJA coordinator, presided at the ceremony. Sharell Fountain of the Worcester County Jail and Detention Center was the class speaker.
In addition to Fountain, graduates included John Anchundia, Nicholas Blevins, Jose Borrero III, Kalexis Hubbard, Demarly McCalla, Madeline Pierre and Kayla Somers of the Wicomico County Department of Corrections; Terry Daniels, Elisha Kees and Harold Roberts of the Worcester County Jail and Detention Center; Mitchell Briddell of the Somerset County Detention Center; Gary Beckford, Douglas Bowden Jr., Tyneshia Briddell, Shoyndace Corbin, Adam Dunning, Mondy Gabriel-Elorge, Augustine Hughes, Jerome King, D’Angelo Knox, Raymond McLean, Shenacda Saint Louis, Dynasha Seawright and Wideline St. Jules of the ECI; Jada Birchett, Britina Bowen-Ward and Evan Ruark of the Dorchester County Department of Corrections; Jaidyn Sims of the Caroline County Department of Corrections; and Brandon Cephas of the Talbot County Department of Corrections.
