Jail and Correctional Officers Graduate

Thirty-three jail and correctional officers from Wicomico, Worcester, Somerset, Dorchester, Caroline, Talbot and Queen Anne’s counties graduated in the 122nd entrance-level class of the Eastern Shore Criminal Justice Academy (ESCJA) operated by Wor-Wic Community College in Salisbury.

Graduation exercises, which were held in Guerrieri Hall on the college campus, featured a commencement address by Victoria Matthews, security chief of the Eastern Correctional Institution (ECI).

Donald Rollyson Jr., associate director of the ESCJA, and Rob Dell’Erba, ESCJA coordinator, presided at the ceremony. Darius Williams of the Worcester County Jail and Detention Center was the class speaker.

In addition to Williams, graduates included Morgan Tucker and Latoria Walston of the Wicomico County Department of Corrections; Ginger Drummond, Shane Kaufer and Jonathan Kent of the Worcester County Jail and Detention Center; Yolanda Morgan of the Somerset County Detention Center; Daysia Briddell, Clyde Brooks, Trevira Brown, Deborah Bruce, Kendra Cottman, Tunisia Duncan, Jawon Gamble, Nosa Idemudia, Shakearah Kelly, Todd Krebs, Samuel Louijeune, Richard McVey, Brittni Miles, Biyren Motes, Javonte Nock, Patrece Peterson, Tashina Potter, Ryan Ramos Vega, Patricia Truse and Elizabeth Youn of ECI; Cory Gomez and Lewis Stafford III of the Dorchester County Department of Corrections; Crystal Davis and Cody Faulkner of the Caroline County Department of Corrections; Twyla Hill of the Talbot County Department of Corrections; and Destinee Lamontagne of the Queen Anne’s County Department of Corrections.
