
Eastern Shore SHRM is excited to announce that speaker, Jennifer Hare, Esq. at Franklin & Prokopik, will be speaking about “Employee Handbooks: What to Include, What to Avoid, and Why it Matters” on November 18, 2025, from 8am – 9:30am, at Dove Pointe, 1225 Mount Hermon Road, Salisbury, MD 21804. Explore how to balance compliance with culture, address key federal and state requirements, and avoid common pitfalls that can create liability or confusion. Participants will leave with practical insights and a framework to ensure their employee handbooks work for them.
Jennifer F. Hare is a principal at the law firm of Franklin & Prokopik, residing in the Easton, MD, office. She represents employers and insurers in various workers’ compensation matters before the Workers’ Compensation Commission and Maryland and Washington, D.C. courts.
