The June 20, 2019 Chamber General Membership Luncheon features Lyle Hogg, President/CEO of Piedmont Airlines. Piedmont airlines is a wholly owned subsidiary of the American Airlines group located here in Salisbury.
Lyle began his career in aviation as a regional airline pilot in 1981 flying the Twin Otter Dash 6 planes, a predecessor to the recently retired Dash 8 planes that were in use at the Salisbury Regional Airport.
He was hired as a pilot by US Airways in 1984 and rose through the pilot management ranks, culminating with the position of Vice President of flight operations. Lyle played an integral role in the eventual merger of US Airways and American Airlines.
Piedmont Airlines is a great community partner and under Lyle’s leadership this region has been well served with passenger service for many years and hopefully many years to come.
