Forty Salisbury Horizons summer academic program participants were given the chance to learn about financial literacy, work readiness, and entrepreneurship when Bank of Delmarva sponsored two Junior Achievement of the Eastern Shore classes. Through these JA programs, the youth learned economics and business basics in JA More than Money and learned to use entrepreneurial thinking while considering higher education and career choices in JA It’s my Business.
“Our students really enjoyed the hands-on experience that Junior Achievement provides,” states Dr. Eagle. “It was a fun, learning activity that will help them grow up to be great citizens – an excellent complement to the mission of Horizons.”
