Salisbury, MD — Junior Achievement of the Eastern Shore is inviting students to spend part of their summer exploring careers, entrepreneurship, and real-world business skills through its immersive JA BizTown Summer Camp, with two sessions available July 20–24 and August 3–7 at the Perdue Henson Junior Achievement Center in Salisbury.

Designed to bring learning to life, the week-long camp transforms JA’s popular BizTown experience into an engaging summer adventure where campers take on leadership roles, operate businesses, manage finances, and collaborate with peers in a simulated community. Throughout the week, students will gain hands-on experience in career readiness, economic development,
entrepreneurship, and financial literacy.

Campers will have the opportunity to run banks, manage restaurants, write checks, vote in elections, and interact with local professionals, all within an immersive learning environment. The experience is designed to help students build confidence, develop teamwork and communication skills, and gain a greater understanding of the opportunities available to them in the future.
“JA BizTown Summer Camp provides a unique opportunity for students to learn by doing,” said Tori Stephens, Education Manager. “Working alongside their peers, campers gain valuable life skills while having fun in an engaging and supportive environment.”
