We may be in the midst of the lazy days of summer, but that doesn’t mean your brain should go on vacation!
MAC’s upcoming Virtual Summer Institute is a great way to keep your brain active. And because the classes are all being held virtually, you can enjoy them from the cool comfort of your home.
Classes will be held online Tuesday-Thursday, Aug. 17-19 and 24-26, with sessions starting at 9 a.m., 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. each day. All ages are welcome!
Online registration is under way now.
MAC’s 2021 Virtual Summer Institute features 18 one-hour entertaining and informative classes on a huge variety of topics. Participants can take a virtual tour of Salisbury with Mayor Jake Day to view “Art Throughout Salisbury;” learn how to cook with herbs; plan your fall garden; take classes from MAC’s popular Richard A. Henson Fitness Center trainers; and learn more about American glassware and early mechanical devices.
Other classes will offer a look at how the Smithsonian Institution came to be; timely financial information, a look at the once bustling resort of Barren Creek Springs, and a history of Assateague; in addition to other exciting topics.
