Law Enforcement Class Graduates

Thirty-six law enforcement officers from Wicomico, Worcester, Somerset, Dorchester, Talbot, Caroline, Allegany and Queen Anne’s counties graduated in the 90th entrance-level class of the Eastern Shore Criminal Justice Academy (ESCJA) operated by Wor-Wic Community College at the corner of Route 50 and Walston Switch Road in Salisbury.

Graduation exercises, which were held in the Roland E. Powell Convention Center in Ocean City, featured a commencement address by Krah Plunkert, chief of the Fruitland Police Department.

John C. Moses, director of criminal justice at Wor-Wic, Donald Rollyson Jr., assistant director of the ESCJA, and Rob Dell’Erba, ESCJA coordinator, presided at the ceremony. Awards of certification and excellence were presented by agency representatives. Daniel Reading of the Easton Police Department was the class speaker.

In addition to Reading, graduates included Joshua Eskridge, Kristopher Garrison, Elijah Howard and Nikyia Wooten of the Salisbury Police Department; Chad Baker, Adrian Cropper Jr., Dillon Incendio and Noah Soukup of the Wicomico County Sheriff’s Office; Tyler DeMeo, Chelsea Griffin, Brady Harrington and Caleb Walston of the Fruitland Police Department; Blaine Erdie and John Paul McGrath of the Delmar Police Department; Nicholas Leonard of the Princess Anne Police Department; Kaleb Evans of the Somerset County Sheriff’s Department; Jordan Hughes of the Crisfield Police Department; Nicolas Centeio, Timothy Chaykosky Jr., Ja-Quez Harrell, Ian Williams and Ezra Wong of the Ocean City Police Department; Hunter Nelson and Andrew Ortiz of the Worcester County Sheriff’s Office; Zainab Butt, Malik Shirley and Jacob Dayton of the Cambridge Police Department; Colin Woodard of the Easton Police Department; Alexander Flaggs and Darrin Moon of the Talbot County Sheriff’s Office; Trenton Hillard of the Caroline County Sheriff’s Department; Michelle Hurd of the Centreville Police Department; Kevin Trader Jr. of the Queen Anne’s County Sheriff’s Office; and Zachery Dicken and Richard Jenkins of the Cumberland Police Department.
