Law Enforcement Class Graduates

Twenty-six law enforcement officers from Wicomico, Worcester, Talbot, Caroline and Queen Anne’s counties graduated in the 93rd entrance-level class of the Eastern Shore Criminal Justice Academy (ESCJA) operated by Wor-Wic Community College at the corner of Route 50 and Walston Switch Road in Salisbury.

Graduation exercises, which were held in the Roland E. Powell Convention Center in Ocean City, featured a commencement address by Amanda Leonard, Dorchester County State’s Attorney.

John C. Moses, director of criminal justice at Wor-Wic, Donald Rollyson Jr., associate director of the ESCJA, and Rob Dell’Erba, ESCJA coordinator, presided at the ceremony. Awards of certification and excellence were presented by agency representatives. Brandon West of the Berlin Police Department was the class speaker.

In addition to West, graduates included Candido Encarnacion De Aza, William Mitchell, Colin Renas and Marc Stewart of the Salisbury Police Department; Cameron Johnson, Julian Meza-Shockley, Jesse Pellegrin and Gabriel Travis of the Wicomico County Sheriff’s Office; Michael Arnold and Kyle Mann of the Ocean Pines Police Department; Ryan Barrett, Hayden Gable, Fernando Garcia and Olive Taylor of the Ocean City Police Department; Mitchell Adams, Chad Miller and Nicholas Smithhart of the Worcester County Sheriff’s Office; Marleni Baltazar, Andrew Roberts and Joshua Turner of the Easton Police Department; Khadijah Ameen of the Federalsburg Police Department; Zachary Robinson and Jaden Rowan of the Caroline County Sheriff’s Department; Caitlyn Lane of the Queen Anne’s County Sheriff’s Office; and Sean Peterson of the Maryland Natural Resources Police.
