On Monday, June 15, the Federal Reserve announced that lender registration had opened for the Main Street Lending Program. Lenders are encouraged to begin making loans immediately.
The U.S. Chamber of Commerce applauded the Fed for “taking action” and “[continuing] the process of ensuring businesses of all sizes – including medium and large businesses – have access to the credit they need during this pandemic. This will help businesses keep workers employed and help the economy recover quicker.”
