Her story begins with the many moves she and her husband made as they navigated opportunities in different states, creating a lifetime of memories and experiences along the way.
A dedicated educator, Flo spent many years as a teacher, inspiring countless students through her passion for learning and commitment to helping others succeed. While balancing family life and her career, she and her husband made it a priority to travel together, creating cherished memories during their many vacations to Hawaii, a destination that held a special place in their hearts.
Following retirement, Flo and her husband settled in Ocean City, Maryland, where they enjoyed the coastal lifestyle they had long dreamed of. As their needs changed, they moved to Lakeside at Mallard Landing. While Flo transitioned into Assisted Living, her husband received specialized care in the community’s Memory Care neighborhood, allowing them to remain close while each received the support they needed.
After the heartbreaking loss of her husband, Flo faced another significant life transition. Rather than allowing grief to define her future, she embraced the opportunities around her with remarkable strength and optimism.
Today, Flo is thriving at Lakeside at Mallard Landing. She has built meaningful friendships, participates in a wide variety of community activities, and continues to inspire those around her with her positive outlook and willingness to embrace each day.
