On Tuesday, June 24th, over 150 chamber members braved the scorching temps to attend an afternoon of networking and meeting new friends at the 4th Annual Lower Shore Chamber Mixer, held at the beautiful Bordeleau Vineyard & Winery in Eden, MD.
Eleven chambers from across Delmarva participated including The Salisbury Area Chamber of Commerce, Berlin Chamber of Commerce, Chincoteague Chamber of Commerce, Crisfield Area Chamber of Commerce, Eastern Shore of Virginia Chamber of Commerce, Fruitland Chamber of Commerce, Greater Ocean City Chamber of Commerce, Princess Anne Chamber of Commerce, Snow Hill Area Chamber of Commerce, Worcester County Chamber of Commerce in Ocean Pines, and the Wicomico East Side Chamber of Commerce.
The sold-out event provided a unique opportunity for business leaders to network and share ideas with fellow business professionals from the Lower Shore.
Guests sipped on Bordeleau Vineyards & Winery’s wine and beer, took in the beautiful view of the vineyard, and sampled delicious food provided by chamber members Deli at Pecan Square and Playa Bowls Salisbury. The Grocery Outlet helped to keep guests well hydrated with coolers of icy cold water!
Door prizes were donated from each of the participating chambers and several of their business members. The lucky winners received great prizes from chamber members across Delmarva, including gourmet foods, garden décor and supplies, plants, an Old Bay vodka and bloody mary kit, gift certificates for seafood festivals and restaurants, entertainment packages, coolers, umbrella, beach bags, and more!
Despite the sweltering heat, the mixer provided a great opportunity for members to experience the offerings from businesses of our neighboring Chambers of Commerce.
Bordeleau Vineyards & Winery is nestled along Wicomico Creek, just south of Salisbury, Maryland. The name Bordeleau, French for “The Water’s Edge,” was chosen to reflect not only the distinctive environment where they hand-harvest grapes, but also the favorable climate similarities to the Bordeaux region of France.
