Lunch with Arun Gandhi, Grandson of Mohandas K. “Mahatma” Gandhi : May 3

The Salisbury Area Chamber of Commerce will host “Lunch with Arun Gandhi: Gandhi’s Perspectives on Business” May 3 at 11:30 a.m. at La Quinta and Suites in Salisbury. Gandhi the fifth grandson of India’s legendary leader, Mohandas K. “Mahatma” Gandhi.

He will be presenting how life lessons from his grandfather influenced his belief that humanity has a responsibility to make the world more just, safe and peaceful. He will also present his reasoning as to why compassion matters more than profit in business and how anger can be “transformed into a positive energy to heal, rather than harm.”

Gandhi is a speaker, author, and self-proclaimed “agent of change,” dedicated to sharing the lessons he learned from his grandfather throughout the world. He is the author of numerous books; most recently “The Gift of Anger”, and two children’s books, “Grandfather Gandhi,” and “Be the Change: A Grandfather Gandhi Story.”
