
SALISBURY, MD. – The MAC Inc. Cancer Survivorship Program will offer a free six-week
Cancer: Thriving and Surviving workshop for cancer patients, survivors, and caregivers.
The workshop will be held on Tuesdays from Sept. 29 through Nov. 3, 2026, from 1 to 3:30 p.m.
at MAC, located at 909 Progress Circle in Salisbury.
Developed by Stanford University, this self-management program gives participants practical
tools to better manage the physical and emotional challenges of cancer while leading healthier,
more active lives.
Topics covered during the workshop will include:
- Sleeping problems
- Pain, stress, and anxiety
- Living with uncertainty
- Emotions and depression
- Body changes
- Healthy eating
- Exercise
- Fatigue
