The Maryland Department of Commerce announced Monday that applications are open for the second year of the Child Care Capital Support Revolving Loan Fund. The fund operates in partnership with the Maryland State Department of Education (MSDE) and provides no-interest loans for capital expenses to child care providers who are licensed and participate in MSDE’s Child Care Scholarship Program. Earlier this year, Governor Moore announced the first 67 child care facilities to receive loans from the program, spanning 16 jurisdictions statewide.
Deadline: A total of $10 million is available through this second round of funding and applications are being accepted until Dec. 15, 2023.
