Salisbury, MD – Maryland Capital Enterprises Women’s Business Center (MCE WBC) is excited to announce its April 2025 lineup of free business training webinars, designed to empower entrepreneurs, small business owners, and women in business with the knowledge and skills needed to succeed.

These no-charge, expert-led sessions will cover essential business topics, from government contracting to business planning, cash flow management, and the first steps of starting your own
business.

🔹 Thursday, April 3 | Noon – 1 PM – WOSB: Woman-Owned Small Business – Government Contracting
Learn how to get certified as a Woman-Owned Small Business (WOSB) and gain access to federal contracting opportunities.
🔹 Thursday, April 3 | 6:30 – 7:30 PM – Small Business Finance Workshop
Discover the fundamentals of business banking, credit management, and financial governance.
🔹 Wednesday, April 9 | Noon – 1 PM – How to Calculate Your Business Cash Flow
Learn what cash flow is, why it matters, and how to calculate it to strengthen your financial position.
🔹 Thursday, April 10 | 1 – 4 PM – Lower Shore Small Business Resource Expo (In-person at UMES)
Connect with lenders, business advisors, and state resources to help grow your business. Special presentation by Eduardo Hayden, Small Business Outreach Manager for the Governor’s Office of Small, Minority, and Women Business Affairs.
🔹 Tuesday, April 15 | Noon – 1 PM – First Steps of Starting Your Own Business
Explore the pros and cons of small business ownership, Maryland’s business requirements, and the importance of credit and a business plan.
🔹 Wednesday, April 23 | Noon – 1 PM – How to Write a Business Plan & Cash Flows
Learn how to develop a business plan and cash flow projections to secure funding and grow your business.
These free educational webinars are open to entrepreneurs at any stage of their business journey. Whether you’re looking to start, expand, or stabilize your business, these sessions provide valuable insights from industry experts.
