On Friday, June 9th, Chamber of Commerce Executives from across Maryland convened for the Maryland Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives (MACCE) summer meeting at the Rod N’ Reel Resort in Chesapeake Beach, Maryland.
Five of Governor Moore’s Cabinet Secretaries addressed the Executives in their departments and how the business community can interact and play a part in making Maryland as business friendly as possible. MACCE President Bill Chambers invited these key state agency leaders to interact with the Chamber Executives and continue a dialogue to ensure that the voices of Maryland’s businesses, as represented by these Chamber of Commerce organizations, are heard, and recognized.
Chambers stated “Eighty-two percent of Maryland business is small business, and these small businesses are the lifeblood of the communities they serve. Representing their concerns and protecting their employees is of paramount importance.”
