The Lower Shore Health Insurance Assistance Program’s would like to announce this year’s open enrollment period for Qualified Health Plans to begin on November 1, 2016 and carry through January 31, 2017. Those who are Medicaid eligible can enroll year round. During this time certified Navigators are available to assist individuals and families with the application and enrollment process into a Qualified Health Plan through the state marketplace, Maryland Health Connection.
The Lower Shore Health Insurance Assistance Program provides one-on-one help for residents of Somerset, Wicomico and Worcester counties applying for health insurance through the state’s marketplace, Maryland Health Connection. The number is 855-445-5540. Find out more at lowershorehealth.org.
