Maryland State of Emergency Flood Grants Available Now

On Friday October 29th Governor Larry Hogan declared a state of emergency for areas of Maryland along the Chesapeake Bay, Potomac River, and the Atlantic Coastline.

Grants of up to $50,000 will be available for businesses in our service area listed below.  

These grants are to help recover from damage sustained and/or halt in operations resulting from the storms & coastal flooding on Oct. 29 – 30.

Businesses from the following counties in MD are eligible to apply through MCE:

  • Wicomico
  • Worcester
  • Dorchester
  • Kent
  • Queen Anne’s
  • Somerset
  • Talbot
  • Caroline
  • Anne Arundel
  • Baltimore City
  • Baltimore County

* Grant applications can be completed and submitted online starting Monday, November 8th at 9:00 am and close on Friday, November 19th at 4:00 pm
