The Maryland Tourism Education Foundation (MTEF) is accepting applications for scholarships to be awarded to hospitality and tourism students in 2022. Please forward this email to anyone you think may be interested.
The information below details the criteria that must be met in order to qualify for the scholarship, as well as steps to submit an application.
The deadline for applications and supporting documentation to be received is March 15, 2022.
Criteria:
- Current resident of State of Maryland
- Minimum of six (6) months of work experience in a Hospitality & Tourism related position – OR- Minimum of one (1) year enrolled in a tourism industry sanctioned or an accredited Hospitality & Tourism related educational program
- Sincere desire to pursue a professional career in the Hospitality & Tourism Community
How to Apply:
- Complete the following questions contained in this Scholarship Application.
- For your application, send one email with the subject “MTEF Scholarship Application – FIRST LAST NAME” to Info@mdtef.org with the following attachments: 1.) The completed application, 2.) transcripts, 3.) resume and 4.) any optional supporting documentation (i.e. letters from teachers, employers, etc.) and 5.) if you choose to answer questions 1-3 under “Background & Career Goals” in a separate Word document, include that attachment as well.
