The former Standard Register facility located in the Northwood Industrial Park has been purchased by Delmarva Power. John McClellan, CCIM, Henry Hanna, CCIM, SIOR, and Wesley Cox, CCIM, all Senior Advisors with Sperry Van Ness – Miller Commercial Real Estate represented Standard Register in the transaction.

Standard Register and its predecessor Burroughs Corporation were one of the early occupants of the Northwood Industrial Park in the 1970’s. The facility located at 600 Marvel Road in Salisbury, MD totals over 110,000 square feet and sits on more than 8 acres of land. David Lucas, the Electric Maintenance Manager with Delmarva Power stated, “Our various electric service reliability projects in this area have brought about a need to expand our warehouse capabilities and we believe this particular facility will provide us with the much-needed extra space.” Delmarva Power purchased the building for $2,750,000.

Hanna and McClellan said, “Due to our extensive knowledge of local industrial buyers we were able to generate two offers and secure a contract of sale within fifty days.” For more information about this transaction or for details about other industrial properties for sale, contact John McClellan, CCIM at john.mcclellan@svn.com, Henry Hanna, CCIM, SIOR at henry.hanna@svn.com, or Wesley Cox, CCIM at Wesley.cox@svn.com, or call 410-543-2440.
