Annapolis, MD — Nominations Open for the 2023 Maryland Chamber of Commerce Rising Star Award. The Maryland Chamber of Commerce is accepting nominations for its prestigious Rising Star award, which recognizes young professionals who demonstrate outstanding commitment to their career, company, colleagues and community.
Members of the business community are encouraged to nominate individuals ages 40 or younger who:
- Demonstrate strong leadership, initiative and dedication in their workplaces and communities.
- Exhibit tremendous growth and an upward trajectory.
- Personify the future of Maryland business.
Nominations are being accepted online through 11:59 p.m. on March 3, 2023.
The winner of the Rising Star award will be recognized in front of more than 350 of Maryland’s most distinguished business leaders at Inspire MD, the Maryland Chamber of Commerce’s flagship event, on May 11 at the Baltimore Museum of Industry.
Along with the Rising Star Award, the Maryland Chamber of Commerce will also induct one new individual into the Maryland Business Hall of Fame, and award one individual with the Public Service Award for their contributions to help advance Maryland’s economy and quality of life, at the Inspire MD event. The recipients of these honors will be chosen by Maryland Chamber of Commerce leadership and board of directors.
