MSPB Board of Directors is looking to add to the diversity of the Board, as well as to ensure each jurisdiction that MSPB serves is represented. The Board is particularly interested in candidates representing the Lower Shore counties, such as Wicomico, Worcester, and Somerset.
Other qualifications and characteristics that the Board will consider include, but are not limited to:
- Familiarity with communities served and with Mid-Shore Pro Bono’s work.
- Experience in strategic/business development planning.
- Experience in fundraising (grant applications and/or administration).
- Experience in Information Technology (IT) systems and applications.
- Experience in media and public relations.
- Experience in board development and training.
- Candidates who represent the ethnocultural makeup of communities served by MSPB.
- Identification/familiarity with the needs of low-income individuals and families.
- Familiarity with the needs of people with disabilities.
- Identification/familiarity with the needs of the LGBTQ community.
