The Wicomico County Health Department will be hosting a Minority Youth Outreach Project Conference on Friday, May 1, 2015.
The conference, entitled Effective Strategies to Positively Impact Minority Families Living in Poverty, will take place from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. a the Wicomico Youth & Civic Center in the Da Nang Room. The conference will include a continental breakfast, speaker Dr. Andre Fernando Leyva, Ph.D., lunch, several breakout sessions, and a question and answer session.
Speaker Dr. Andre Fernando Leyva has over 30 years of experience in providing a wide range of psychological services treating childhood, adolescent and adult mental health disorders utilizing psychotherapy, gestalt therapy, family therapy, and or cognitive-behavioral interventions.
