This month Scuttle is flying into Minuteman Press, where he will remain for the duration of April. Scuttle is the winning heron from the Build a Heron competition initiated by Wicomico County’s Stash Your Trash Anti-Litter Campaign. Scuttle is made of 100% recycled materials.
Each month a green-friendly member of the Salisbury Area Chamber of Commerce has a chance to be chosen to display Scuttle.
Minuteman Press was recognized for keeping their parking lot free of trash and initiating a recycling program now that they have more room in their new location. They have experienced a significant decrease in the amount of waste the business is accumulating (75% of their waste is paper).
The business was presented with a certificate from the chamber that reads:
