Salisbury, MD — Mountaire Farms presents the 79th Annual Salisbury Christmas Parade, hosted by the Salisbury Jaycees, on Sunday, December 7. The rain date is Sunday, December 14.
The Salisbury Jaycees Christmas Parade, in partnership with the City of Salisbury, will follow its familiar route, ending at City Park on East Main Street. The parade will begin at 1 p.m. at the corner of Civic Avenue and Mt. Hermon Road and continue down to East Main Street.
The Jaycees are thrilled to announce this year’s Parade Grand Marshal: Buck Burton! A beloved music educator with Wicomico County public schools, Buck has inspired students for 34 years. Beyond the classroom, he shares his musical talent with local groups including The Dove, the Salisbury Symphony, Country Grass, and the Salisbury Community Band. A passionate restorer of antique cars and model trains, Buck will ride in his 1949 Chevrolet Pickup—cowboy hat and all—perfectly embodying this year’s theme, “Holly Jolly Hoedown.”
Entries are accepted until November 28, 2025. For applications and more information, visit the Salisbury Jaycees’ Facebook page at www.facebook.com/salisburyjaycees.
