NAACP Wicomico County to Hold 19th Annual Freedom Fund Gala

NAACP

Since 1909, the NAACP has worked to promote the advancement of Black and other historically disenfranchised groups by advocating for policies and practices that expand human and civil rights, eliminate discrimination, and accelerate equity and social justice. Such endeavors require financial support from caring and socially engaged community partners and business leaders like you.

On Friday, November 9, 2024, at 6:00 PM, the Wicomico County NAACP will host its principal fundraising event, the 19th annual Freedom Fund Awards Gala, at Salisbury University Guerrieri Library in Salisbury.

This year’s theme is “Resilient By Design ~ Strengthening Our Future.” In addition to celebrating our shared success, the event will award several local individuals who demonstrate a remarkable
commitment to the NAACP mission, live entertainment, fellowship and a delicious dinner.

Funds raised from this event support branch activities such as scholarships for local students, youth development initiatives, and community programs that advance our mission.

Individual tickets can be purchased for $50 each online https://tinyurl.com/wicomicofreedomfund
