SALISBURY, MD — The Principals of NAI Coastal are pleased to announce the growth of their specialized brokerage team with the addition of Associate Advisors Doug Dashiell and Shelby Gillis. Both advisors venture into commercial brokerage backed by a lifetime of industry exposure in relation to real estate development and property management.
“I’m looking forward to leveraging my experience in property acquisition and portfolio management to help my future clients capitalize on opportunity in our regional market,” said Dashiell. “Quality investment properties are in high demand and after spending years analyzing investments on behalf of my family’s business, I feel I am qualified to help investors identify and acquire smart, profitable assets.”
Dashiell is well versed in all aspects of the commercial real estate industry. At times, he has been responsible for the management of over 1,200 commercial and residential units. His knowledge surrounding the logistics of owning investment properties serves as the foundation for his brokerage business.
Additionally, the NAI Coastal team welcomes Shelby Gillis. After spending years working in business operations and retail management for a tourism company located in the Caribbean, Gillis has returned to Delmarva with plans to grow her knowledge in relation to commercial brokerage and development. Pairing her advisory services with a marketing role at Gillis Gilkerson, Gillis is taking an integrated approach in order to gain first-hand industry experience.
“My new dual role with NAI Coastal and Gillis Gilkerson enables me to fast track exposure to all aspects of the industry, as a whole. My background is in journalism and business operations—more specifically, client relations. I’m excited to learn more about commercial brokerage through aggressive and innovative property marketing,” said Gillis.
