Nickle Wins Four Excellence in Construction Awards

This year, Nickle Electrical was presented with four Excellence in Construction Awards: two from the Associated Builders and Contractors Delaware Chapter and two from the Associated Builders and Contractors Chesapeake Shores Chapter.

Nickle provided full electrical installation to the new 30,000-square-foot Sea Gull Stadium at Salisbury University. The structure contains a media center, athletic training clinic, locker rooms, a retail shop, concession stand, ticket office, public restrooms, VIP seating areas, a press box, and bleacher seating for 5,000 spectators. This project won an Excellence award from ABC Chesapeake Shores and a Merit award from ABC Delaware.

SevOne, Inc. is located on the University of Delaware’s Science, Technology, and Advanced Research Campus. Nickle electricians installed a new 2,500-amp electrical service, new lighting controls, branch circuits, floor boxes, tele/data, fire alarms, television monitors and supports, and control points. This project won an Excellence award from ABC Delaware.

Washington College Academic Building, located in Chestertown, MD is two stories tall and covers more than 14,000-square-feet. It includes offices, classrooms, laboratory space, small kitchen spaces, and study areas. Nickle provided BIM modeling for underground work, including 1.5-inch and larger conduit runs prior to the project starting. Electricians also provided brand new electrical service to the entire building, along with site lighting, and primary and secondary power to the transformer and switchboard. This project won a Merit award from ABC Chesapeake Shores.

Nickle now holds a total of 39 Excellence in Construction Awards. The honors were presented at various celebration dinners across Delaware and the Eastern Shore of Maryland.
