The Maryland Small Business Development Center Network (SBDC) is hosting statewide outreach sessions to help small and emerging businesses learn about the multimillion dollar Off Shore Wind Energy Project.
Learn how businesses can qualify to participate. This session will give valuable information and resources to help prepare:
• Background and history of the wind energy project in Maryland;
• Program overview and timelines from the developer (US Wind)
• Project categories;
• An in-depth discussion of small business opportunities: Learn how to position your business to participate, including certification (ISO and other necessary licenses), financing; process for accessing resources, partnering opportunities, training and development and more!
