The 68th Annual Old Timers’ Day Classic Car Show & Family Festival is coming to Selbyville, on Saturday, June 14th from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm. This event is hosted by the Bethany-Fenwick Area Chamber of Commerce in partnership with the Town of Selbyville and presented by the Bunting & Murray Construction Corporation.

A family-friendly affair, Old Timers’ Day will include classic cars across multiple decades as far back as the 1910’s, tunes from BKH Entertainment, food vendors, children’s activities, an outdoor beer garden sponsored by Banks Wines & Spirits, live music from the Glass Onion Band sponsored by Mountaire Farms, fire truck rides,  roller skating, a community book sale, and a historic walking tour through downtown Selbyville.

“Saturday of Father’s Day weekend in downtown Selbyville has become a staple community event for locals, visitors, and car enthusiasts. We love having the opportunity to highlight the town,” says Chamber Executive Director Lauren Weaver. “Selbyville’s charm and family-friendly atmosphere is a perfect fit and the reason this event has been a success for so long.”

Vehicle entry into the car show is $10, and the first 100 registrants receive a commemorative event gift. Awards are given to the top 25 cars, with cash prizes awarded to The Oldest of the Old Timers, Best in Show, and People’s Choice winners. The festival is open to the public and free to attend. Event beneficiaries include Selbyville Public Library, Selbyville Volunteer Fire Company, Delaware Hospice and a number of other on-site groups.
