The Brick Room, a downtown Salisbury tavern known for its welcoming ambiance and historic architecture announced the handful of guest bartending nights it has hosted has helped raise $8,000 for local non-profit organizations.
“We are always looking for ways to give back to our local community,” said Chris Gilkerson, owner, The Brick Room. “Guest bartending events are an easy way for people to raise awareness and money to support the missions that are meaningful to them and their peers.”
“Here at The Brick Room we believe in building community,” said Blair Carey, owner. “We are thrilled to have the opportunity to provide a space where individuals can gather together and celebrate people, their passions and all of the good our community has to offer.”
The Brick Room has contributed to the following organizations:
• March of Dimes – $1,000
• Race For Hope – $1,500
• Village of Hope – $1,500
• Refuge For Freedom – $500
• Women Supporting Women – $1,000
• Brooke Mulford Foundation – $500
• John Brune Law Enforcement K-9 Foundation – $2,000
