SALISBURY, MD—For two decades, Salisbury University’s Institute for Public Affairs and Civic Engagement (PACE) has worked in a non-partisan way to cultivate a more informed, democratic citizenry that promotes good governance on campus, local, state and federal levels.
PACE celebrates its 20 anniversary, along with 25 years of ShoreCorps/AmeriCorps programs on campus, with a dinner and presentation 6-9 p.m. Saturday, October 19.
Speakers include PACE co-founders Drs. Harry Basehart and Fran Kane, as well as ShoreCorps/AmeriCorps founding project director Dr. George Whitehead, Salisbury Mayor Jacob Day and others.
