PACE Hosts Candidate Forums in May

SALISBURY, MD – Salisbury University’s Institute for Public Affairs and Civic Engagement (PACE) is partnering with the Greater Salisbury Committee and Salisbury Area Chamber of Commerce to host forums for citizens to hear from Maryland Attorney General and Wicomico County executive candidates in May.

The Attorney General forum is 6 p.m. Monday, May 2, in the Worcester Room of the Commons. Candidates Anthony Brown, Katie O’Malley and Jim Shalleck will participate.

The Wicomico County executive forum is 6 p.m. Thursday, May 12, in the Wicomico Room of Guerrieri Student Union. Candidates scheduled to appear include Democrat Ernest Davis and Republicans Julie Giordano and John Psota.

PACE also co-hosts a forum for Maryland 1st Congressional District Democrats 6 p.m. Thursday, May 5, in Guerrieri Hall at Wor-Wic Community College. Candidates scheduled to appear are Heather Mizeur and Dave Harden.

Admission is free and the public is invited.
